Privacy...

This is pretty simple; As a BargainBar user, your information is private. Period. We don't "capture" your name, email address, surfing habits or any other information about you, your behavior, your preferences or anything else. We don't require that you register or provide us with any contact information to use the toolbar.

In fact, as you use the toolbar, you'll see that we've specifically included tools designed to help you protect your privacy, helping you improve the security of your prvate information and maintain a degree of anonymity from other prying eyes.

If you DO choose to register as a BargainBar user (again, it's completely optional, but we encourage you to do so,) any information you provide us still belongs to YOU, not to us. We promise not to loan, sell, rent or otherwise make available, to any other party, any information about you that you've disclosed to us.* We'll only use any info you provide for internal purposes, for improving the usefulness of the BargainBar, and for communicating directly with you.

One thing to recognize: The offers, services and, of course, bargains that you discover as you use your BargainBar to surf and save will be subject to the policies of the particular site or company providing the service or product. Some may request (or require) registration or other personal information. Each third-party site or service, obviously, is responsible for its own Privacy Policy, and we encourage you to read them. We won't, however, recommend any site or service if we're aware that its' policies conflict with the ipso facto industry standards.

* The only exception would be in the event that we should ever be required to disclose specifically requested information to a bonafide, legally-empowered law-enforcement agency.
